Multimedia now and in future

The term multimedia refers to a form of communication that uses various means to convey a message. Multi various means and media means middle. So media is multiple ways.

The media has gained increasing importance in education, in trade, with multimedia games are becoming more real.

The multimedia is a way of presenting information using different types of media in combination, these types of media can include text, graphics, animation, sound, or video.

In the future multimedia will evolve depending on the evolution of the technologies available and the needs of people.
Now if we could do so much with multimedia, we can only imagine how the world will be influenced by multimedia.

Why are computer games so addictive?

I think computer games are so addictive because people don´t have others things to do. They stay much time in front of computer, people don´t socialize with each other.

He was convicted for piracy. He copied and sold cd´s.

But his life could have been so different:

1. If he hadn´t won the lottery he hadn´t have money.
2. If he hadn´t have money he hadn´t bought a computer.
3. If he hadn´t bought a computer he hadn´t bought internet.
4. If he hadn´t bought internet he hadn´t copied and sold cd´s.
5. If he hadn´t copied and sold cd´s he wouldn´t been in jail.

1. First: mix the eggs and the sugar;
2. Then add the milk and the flour to the mix;
3. Once it´s all well mixed add the chocolate and the oil;
4. After it´s all done put it inn a cake tin;
5. The last step is to turn on the oven.

About me

My name is Cátia Escaleira and i´m nineteen years old.

I live in Vila Real, i´m getting a degree in Comunication and Multimedia, in the university of “Trás-os-Montes e Alto Douro”.

I like listening to music, reading books, watching TV, playing and watching football.

My favourite music is  “Fix You” by the Coldplay. I also like to Keane, U2 and portuguese groups like “Xutos e Pontapés”,

My football club is Benfica. It is the club that has more partners in the world and i think this year we will be champions.

I like to watching TV series such as ” CSI” , “Supernatural”, “House, M.D”.
